Deputy FBI Director Dan Bongino leaves FBI after serving under one year as deputy director

[JustTheNews] "It’s been an incredible year thanks to the leadership and decisiveness of President Trump. It was the honor of a lifetime to work with Director Patel, and to serve you, the American people. See you on the other side," he wrote.
He took on the first steps of identifying and getting rid of the unsuitable in FBI personnel, policies, and procedures, despite the hate as well as love that came his way as a result. Most people are not cut out for that kind of thing, but he made it easier for whoever next fills the role. If he did not accomplish nearly as much as he hoped, at least he made headway, and he honourably stepped down rather than do the job poorly.
