[Regnum] A magnitude 6.5 earthquake struck Mexico. The Mexican Seismic Institute reported this on January 2.
According to seismologists, the epicenter of the tremors was in the southern state of Guerrero, 15 kilometers southeast of San Marcos. The epicenter was located at a depth of approximately 10 kilometers.
The earthquake was recorded at 4:58 PM Moscow time. There are no reports of damage or casualties yet.
