[The Daily Express] Russian soldiers defending their country in its war against Ukraine have reportedly suffered countless abuses at the hands of President Vladimir Putin's administration, resulting in the deaths of over 300 soldiers, a new bombshell investigation reveals.
A new investigation from The New York Times details how Putin and the Kremlin built a war machine based on brutality and coercion, in which military higher-ups use abuse to punish their soldiers, many of whom are already severely ill or already injured.
The Times analyzed more than 6,000 confidential complaints about the war, revealing horrifying accounts of torture.
