Not the first ISIS turbans HTS has absorbed. More have gone into Turkey’s Syrian National Army paramilitary.
Text: The Shura Council in Idlib has redeployed a unit consisting of 45 former ISIS operatives whom have joined the ranks of Hayat Tahrir al Sham to Tal Rifaat, Kafr Nasseh and Kafr Khasir in the northern countryside of Aleppo. They were previously deployed in Damascus. The decision was made on December 21, 2025 and implemented on December 27. |
