| Southern Salafi agreement and a sign of de-escalation in eastern Yemen |

Text: ⚠️Important⚠️ It appears we are witnessing a Southern-Southern Salafi agreement and a sign of de-escalation in eastern Yemen. A military regional officer confirms to BashaReport that the deployment of the “Southern Salafi” National Shield Forces (NSF) across several locations in Hadramawt was coordinated with the Southern Transitional Council. Therefore, this was not a Saudi–STC deal but rather part of an organized division of responsibilities among “Southern Salafi” forces. This move was carried out in coordination with local security forces to enhance security and stability and to prevent attempts to exploit the situation amid ongoing unrest. The “southern Salafi” Giant Brigades remain in control of the 37th Armored Brigade in Al-Khasha’. The areas covered so far include east of Al-‘Abr, Khashm Al-Ayn, Al-Wahdah, and Akban.
