[Regnum] The oil tanker Bella 1, previously stopped in the Caribbean by the United States, is owned by the Istanbul-based firm Louis Marine Shipholding Enterprises SA. This was reported on December 21 by the American newspaper The Wall Street Journal, citing data from the analytics company Kpler.
"The registered owner of the Bella 1 is the Istanbul-based company Louis Marine Shipholding Enterprises S.A," the report states.
According to the newspaper's source, the tanker in question was heading to Venezuela, but then turned around to avoid detection.
