SLM leader urges Germany to press UAE to stop ‘aggression’

[SudanTribune] The chairman of the Sudan Liberation Movement (SLM), Minni Arko Minnawi, urged a German official on Monday to pressure the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to cease its support for the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), which he described as an act of “aggression” against Sudan.
And so it is.
Minnawi, who is also the Governor of the Darfur region and a key ally of the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF), made the demand during a meeting in Berlin with Serap Güler, the German Minister of State to the Federal Foreign Office.

Minnawi stated in remarks released by his media office that the “comprehensive aggression launched by the UAE” targets Sudan’s “sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity,” using the RSF militia and thousands of foreign mercenaries to occupy lands and loot resources.
