The District 27 DA’s Office & Cherokee National Marshall led a human trafficking bust that rescued children and ended in the arrest of multiple buyers and sellers.
A multi-agency human trafficking bust, in conjunction with the District 27 District Attorney’s Office, conducted a coordinated operation that ended in multiple arrests and children rescued this week.
Okla. District 27 includes Adair, Cherokee, and Sequoyah counties.
Three victims were recovered and four children under the age of 10 were located and placed in DHS custody according to officials.
Authorities say seven sex buyers were arrested in the operation and two likely traffickers were identified.
