“Israel will clear the rubble from Gaza and pay billions,” ynet reported this morning. It is inconceivable. We will pay for clearing the rubble. Israeli taxpayers will finance the damage Gazans brought upon themselves. Should we also pay for the Hamas pickup trucks that were destroyed? How far will this go? Will we pay salaries to the Nukhba militants? A so-called “full right-wing” government will fund Gazans for the damage caused by terrorism they inflicted on themselves. How pathetic.
The three Bs — Bibi, Ben-Gvir and Bezalel — as a shabby parody of the eternal three Bs: Bach, Beethoven and Brahms, only without their genius or talent. What do B.B.B. tell themselves? Why do they think we should pay for this? If there is no one to pay, let it remain as it is — a monument to destruction and a permanent reminder to the Palestinians and everyone else in the region of what happens to those who attack Israel. It is good that in Tulkarem, Qalqilya and other towns and villages in Judea and Samaria they remember the price well. A scenario of an attack on an Israeli community from east or west of the separation barrier is not far-fetched, and they should know that in such a case, their towns will look like Gaza does today.
