Text: UPDATE: AFC/M23’s advance is accelerating. After securing Uvira, the forces pushed south and took Mboko 56 km into the Fizi axis. Their movement now stretches past Burundi, heading toward the Tanganyika–Tanzania border, with a clear pathway toward Zambia. At this pace, the entire southern and eastern flank of Congo could soon be inaccessible to support from Burundi, Tanzania, or Zambia. |
