Text: Anticipating a potential advance by UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council forces and bracing for what they fear could be a new round of fighting, Houthi units carried out large-scale demolition operations early Wednesday along the recently reopened Tharah–Mukayras N6 road in Abyan. Houthis first attempted to block the route by bringing in bulldozers and placing containers across the roadway, but forces positioned on the front line pushed them back, inflicting casualties and forcing a retreat under fire. Later that night, after failing to seal the road, the Houthis returned and resorted to blasting sections of the road and the adjacent mountainside using mines.
