| Mass rapes reported in northern Sudan |

Text: Sudan Doctors Network says it has documented 19 new cases of rape committed by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) at Al-Afad displacement camp in Al-Dabba, including two pregnant women now receiving medical care. The network says the women were attacked while fleeing El-Fasher, describing the assaults as part of RSF’s systematic weaponization of sexual violence and a grave violation of international law. Doctors are urging the United Nations to deploy independent investigators, protect women and children along displacement routes, and RSF leaders to immediately halt the assaults and secure safe corridors for civilians. |
