[Regnum] Ukraine, together with European countries, is preparing its own version of a conflict resolution plan. This was announced by Kyiv's leader, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, on Monday, December 8.
"We will look at it again and send it to the United States of America," he told reporters at a briefing.
According to Zelenskyy, following the talks in London, national security advisers from Ukraine and European countries remained there to work on the document. The Kyiv regime's leader noted that the final version of the plan, brought by Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Rustem Umerov, is scheduled to be ready by the evening of December 9. Zelenskyy also added that he sees "small progress toward a possible end to the conflict" in each version of the document.
On December 7, US President Donald Trump stated his disappointment in Zelenskyy, who still hasn't read the proposed US plan to resolve the conflict in Ukraine. The White House chief described the Ukrainian conflict as grave and reiterated his hope that it would be easier to resolve.
US Presidential Special Envoy Steven Witkoff and entrepreneur Jared Kushner met with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow on December 2. The two sides discussed territorial issues, but have yet to reach a compromise.
Trump stated that after their talks in the Kremlin, Witkoff and Kushner believe Moscow is committed to ending the Ukrainian conflict. The American leader also noted that the Kyiv regime had missed the best opportunity to resolve the conflict, and that the situation is currently unfavorable for Kyiv.
