Text: First Security Support Brigade has seized control of the 315th Armored Brigade and the Thamoud Axis along the N5 in northeast Hadramawt, just south of the Saudi border. The area is a key military position used to counter smuggling along the desert corridor. Brig. Gen. Ali al-Khadr, the former commander, has most likely fled to the Sultanate of Oman. It is likely that the brigade will continue its advance toward Ramah and then move into Mahra. |
