Text: ISWAP, Boko Haram, and now JAS terrorists are converging around the Lake Chad basin, facing minimal resistance from regional forces. This is alarming ! They are effectively running a proto-state, with each faction competing for dominance and territorial control.
Its like the governments of Chad, Cameroon, Niger, and Nigeria have effectively ceded the Lake Chad islands to these insurgent groups, which they will use an aircraft carrier to project force and strike remote military positions at will if nothing is done about it.
