| IDF demolishes West Bank homes of 2 Palestinians accused of terror attacks |

| [IsraelTimes] The IDF says it demolished the homes of two Palestinian terrorists in the northern West Bank overnight and this morning. In the town of Zawata near Nablus, the military says it razed the home of Abed al-Karim Snober, who is accused of being behind a botched bus bombing attack in central Israel in February. In the attack on February 20, three empty buses exploded in quick succession in parking lots in the Tel Aviv suburbs of Bat Yam and Holon, and two more unexploded devices were discovered on additional buses in Holon. No casualties were caused. Snober was detained in July. As a matter of policy, Israel demolishes the homes of Palestinians accused of carrying out deadly terror attacks. The demolition of Snober’s home is unusual, as there were no casualties in the attack. The IDF says that the decision to demolish the home “was made for deterrence reasons related to the exceptional nature of the attack, with the support of legal authorities.” A petition to the High Court against the demolition was rejected. Meanwhile, in the village of Aqabah, the army says it demolished the home of Ayman Ghanem, a member of a Hamas cell that carried out a deadly shooting attack in the Jordan Valley in August 2024. The attack on August 11 at the Mehola Junction on Route 90, the main north-south artery in the Jordan Valley, killed Yonatan Deutsch, 23, and wounded Anas Jaramana, 32. Ghanem was arrested in December 2024. |
