In Denmark, on an island where not a single Muslim lived, three university students embraced Islam together—despite never having met a Muslim before in their lives.

They are Julia, her sister, and a close friend.

“My sister, my friend, and I said the Shahada together. It was the happiest day of my life. Words cannot describe our joy. Embracing Islam gave us an inner peace and spiritual calm that is beyond expression.”

Until then, she said, they had never met a scholar or even an ordinary Muslim.

“All of our knowledge came from the internet. After embracing Islam, I began reading the Qur’an, which answered all the questions I had in my mind.”

“Whenever I face a personal crisis, I turn to the Qur’an. I find answers to my questions and feel a deep, inexplicable happiness.”

“My sole goal now is to earn Allah’s pleasure. Whether people are pleased or upset, I must do whatever will please my Lord. My only trust is in my Creator.”

“I hope to have a family that prays the five daily prayers and lives fully according to Islam.”
