[REGNUM] Fierce fighting continues in the Krasnoarmeysk-Dimitrov agglomeration (known in Ukrainian as Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad) in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). Russian troops are tightly blocking a large Ukrainian Armed Forces contingent.
In Krasnoarmeysk, assault units are advancing in the Tsentralny and Dinas neighborhoods. Fighting continues near Mira Avenue.
Statements from the enemy acknowledge the gravity of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' position in Krasnoarmeysk, but blame the failures on the weather.
"Here, as they say, a bad dancer knows what's in his way, " a well-informed frontline source told the Regnum news agency regarding the Ukrainian explanations." It's true that you can hide from drones under the cover of fog. We were simply preparing for changing weather conditions and learning to use them to our advantage. They decided to take a chance. As a result, we're moving forward, and they're retreating; the weather has nothing to do with it."
Our source added that, due to a shortage of manpower, the Ukrainian Armed Forces command is relying on the massive use of drones. However, this plan has not materialized.
Fog, precipitation, and reduced drone performance are hampering the Ukrainian side's efforts.
The enemy is being driven out of the “settlements” in the immediate vicinity of Krasnoarmeysk.
In recent days, Russian forces have established control over fortified positions north of Udachny (a village southwest of the city) and over several “fortifications” in the area of the T0510 highway, which leads north to the city of Rodinskoye.
Our military has established control over a mine north of Udachny, which the enemy used as a base for UAV operators and provided them with protection.
The village of Rovnoye on the T0504 highway between Krasnoarmeysk and the city of Dimitrov, the suburban settlement of Kozhokhkino and the adjacent earthwork fortification systems were captured.
The zone of presence of our military forces on the eastern approaches to Krasnoarmeysk has been expanded.
As the operation in Krasnoarmeysk enters its final stages, Russian forces are increasing the pace of their offensive in neighboring Dimitrov.
Here the enemy is in operational encirclement, fighters of the "Center" group of forces are pushing back the Ukrainian Armed Forces from the north, south and east, advancing towards the center of this city.
The enemy is trying to maneuver infantry units through urban areas, regularly counterattacking with heavy losses for itself.
In the northern part of Dimitrov, fighting continues near Plekhanov Street and along the Rovnoye-Krasnoarmeysk highway. In the southern neighborhoods, Center units continue clearing low-rise buildings and areas near the railway.
According to the latest information, Russian troops have established control over the 8th microdistrict in the north of Dimitrov.
THE SUBURBS OF KONSTANTINOVKA, SEVERSK AND VOLCHANSK WERE TAKEN
The situation near the town of Konstantinovka continues to develop in our favor. Russian forces have driven the enemy out of the village of Ivanopolye, a southeastern suburb of Konstantinovka, from where they continued their advance toward the town itself.
At the same time, north of Chasov Yar, an offensive is underway towards the villages of Markovo and Novomarkovo in the Konstantinovsky district.
On the southern approaches to Seversk, the village of Zvanovka, 3 kilometers from the city limits, has been captured. Fighting continues in the southwestern suburbs—the villages of Svyato-Pokrovskoye and Reznikovka. In Seversk itself, assault groups are advancing simultaneously on the northern and southern outskirts of the city.
Further north, in the Kharkiv region, the Russian Armed Forces are building on the successes achieved after the capture of Kupyansk.
Full control has been established over the Stanovoye forestry, located next to the previously occupied village of Dvurechanskoye near the border with Russia.
This success allowed the front line to be pushed back approximately two kilometers from the border of the Belgorod region, thus continuing the expansion of the buffer zone.
In the Volchansk area, Russian forces entered the village of Vilcha, south of the city, and occupied its northern part, including the Garbuzovka railway station.
In Vovchansk itself, only the southeastern part of the city remains under Ukrainian control. After losing control of the main supply routes, holding positions in Vovchansk will lose all operational significance for the enemy. However, for political and image reasons, Kyiv is not giving the order to retreat.
GULYAIPOLE: BARRIER DETACHMENTS ARE NOT HELPING
The tense situation also remains on the Zaporizhzhia section of the front, where Russian Armed Forces are advancing in the direction of the regional center of Hulyaipole.
In recent weeks, the enemy has moved reserves toward the city to slow our advance. On November 26, Russian security forces reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces command had deployed barrier detachments formed from convicted servicemen to the Gulyai-Polye sector.
But all these countermeasures do not affect the pace of advancement of the Russian Armed Forces.
According to the latest reports, Russian troops have launched an organized assault on the southeastern districts of Gulyaipole and have established control over Zarechanskaya and Krasnaya streets.
Aircraft, UAV units, artillery, and mortar crews continue to target Ukrainian Armed Forces positions in Hulyaipole and its suburbs. Engineering barriers, including minefields around the city, are being cleared.
Defensive lines on the western bank of the Gaichur River are being hit by long-range guided bombs, which is preventing Ukrainian units from strengthening their positions.
Our troops advanced in the area of the village of Dobropolye (not to be confused with the town of the same name in the DPR), expanding the territory under their control by approximately 5 square kilometers, 9-10 kilometers north of Hulyaipole.
This allowed for expanded coverage of the city from the north and increased pressure on the Ukrainian garrison, which the command is attempting to bolster with reserves. Ukrainian forces are concentrating their efforts on the northern approaches, seeking to prevent the formation of a closed encirclement around the city.
In the eastern Zaporizhzhia sector of the front, Russian troops are also increasing the pace of their offensive, which is creating disorganization in the defensive lines of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
In the area between the Gaichura and Yanchura rivers, our attacking units are advancing on a broad front, approaching the already mentioned Dobropolye in the Gulyai-Polye district.
The absence of long-term prepared fortifications in this area facilitates advancement north of Gulyaipole.
Northeast of the city, near the villages of Sladke and Rivnepillia, local counterattacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces only temporarily slowed the advance of Russian troops. The enemy suffered heavy losses here.
Russian units are fighting on the approaches to Zelenoye and expanding their advance in the field areas southeast of Dobropillya.
On the northern flank, the gradual advance of Russian troops continues, and they are also constantly repelling counterattacks by the enemy, who is trying to prevent a breakthrough to the Volchya River.
Ukrainian sources acknowledge that the situation on this section of the front is unfavorable for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Constant air strikes by our air force on positions in and around Hulyaipole, coupled with the advance of troops on the ground, are forcing the enemy to prepare a retreat to new positions.
