[IsraelTimes] A delegation of senior Hamas officials has arrived in Cairo to meet Egyptian intelligence officials and discuss the recent escalation of hostilities in the Gaza Strip, the Saudi Al-Hadath outlet reports, citing an unnamed source familiar with the matter.
The team is also expected to meet representatives of mediator countries — Egypt, Qatar and the United States — to discuss “ways to contain the escalation”
