Text: Sudanese Army Opens New Axes Around Kadugli, Captures Rahiwa and Um Qarfa from RSF and SPLM-N Local sources report that the Sudanese Armed Forces have opened new concentration axes around Kadugli and launched a direct assault on Rapid Support Forces (RSF), Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM-N) units, and the mercenary groups cooperating with them. Joint forces raised the national flag inside the Rahiwa area after securing it, and also announced the liberation of Um Qarfa. Military sources describe the operations as part of a wider campaign of “victories and conquests” across the region. According to field updates, days of pressure on RSF and SPLM-N positions—targeting supply routes, weapons caches, and defensive lines—preceded the assault. Sources claim enemy fighters have begun to disperse as government forces advance. The army says the coming hours and days will be “decisive,” signaling additional operations across South Kordofan. |
