[Regnum] A magnitude 6.1 earthquake struck off the coast of Kamchatka in the Pacific Ocean. The Kamchatka branch of the Federal Research Center "Unified Geophysical Service" of the Russian Academy of Sciences reported this on its Telegram channel.
The tremors were recorded on Friday, November 14, at 11:33 PM local time (2:33 PM Moscow time). Experts classify the magnitude of the 6.1 tremors as a strong earthquake.
The epicenter was located 318 km from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, with the epicenter at a depth of 43.8 km. According to preliminary reports, there were no casualties and no damage to infrastructure.
