| ISWAP, Boko Haram factions may clash any moment |

Text: Fighters of the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) and the Jama’atu Ahlis Sunna Lidda’awati wal-Jihad (JAS) faction of Boko Haram are reportedly mobilising for renewed hostilities in parts of Borno State, sources have revealed. According to credible intelligence obtained on Wednesday, ISWAP fighters, led by their naval commander, Abubakar Buduma, have mobilised several waterborne units from different hubs in Marte Local Government Area towards the central and upper Lake Chad region. The movement, which reportedly began around 5 p.m. on Nov. 10, involved fighters and commanders drawn from ISWAP strongholds in Kusuma, Sabon Toumbun, Koleram, Jibillaram, and Ngelewa, all within Marte axis. The convoy of fighters was last sighted around Dabar Wazam in Kukawa Local Government Area, suggesting a coordinated effort to launch reprisal attacks on areas recently captured by the rival JAS faction.
