[Regnum] The investigation into a terrorist attack in Dagestan that resulted in the death of a police officer has been completed. This was reported by the press service of the Russian Investigative Committee.
"The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Dagestan has completed its investigation into a criminal case against a local resident. He is accused of committing crimes under Articles 205, 205.4, 205.5, 317, 226, and 166 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation," the agency clarified.
According to the investigation, the accused, together with his accomplice, adhering to the ideology of an international terrorist organization (banned in Russia), created a terrorist community.

On May 5, armed assailants attacked traffic police officers in Makhachkala. Three people, including two police officers, were killed in the shootout. According to regional governor Sergei Melikov, the shooter was a driver who the officers were attempting to stop. The city implemented the "Intercept" plan. One assailant was killed, and the second was detained with injuries.
