In October, the Russian army occupied 267 square kilometers of Ukrainian territory. This is slightly more than in September, according to the DeepState analytical project on Saturday, November 1.
"In October, the Russians were able to occupy 0.04% of the country's total area, and now the overall figure stands at 19.09%. In relative terms, the amount of occupied territory increased by 3.1%, and the number of assaults by 2.3%," the report states.

"In October, the intensity of the Pokrovsky sector remained the same, although the intensity of the Limansky sector decreased. However, the number of assault operations increased in the direction of Kostyantynivka and in the Kharkiv sector (from Kozachya Lopan to Dvorichansky)," DeepState added.
As a reminder, 157 battles took place on the frontline in the 24 hours of October 31, almost a third of which took place near Pokrovsk. The Russian army lost 900 soldiers killed and wounded. The total number of Russian casualties is approaching 1.2 million.
