| [IsraelTimes] Defense Ministry security guards foiled an attempt to smuggle two handguns into Israel from the West Bank earlier this evening. The ministry says in a statement that a vehicle arrived at the Metzadot Yehuda checkpoint in the southern West Bank, and aroused the suspicion of the guards stationed there. Hidden inside the vehicle’s frame, the security guards found two pistols, the ministry says. The driver and the guns were handed over to the police. |
