[Korrespondent] The occupiers concentrated more than half of their attacks on two directions: Pokrovsky and Aleksandrovsky.
Since the start of the day, 82 combat clashes have occurred along the front line, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in an operational report on Friday, October 24.
Thus, in the Severo-Slobodskoy and Kursk directions, one attack by Russian occupiers was repelled.
In the South Slobodskoy direction, the enemy advanced seven times near Vovchansk, Otradny, Bologovka, and Kamyanka. Two combat clashes are ongoing.
Three armed clashes occurred in the Kupyansk direction. The occupiers attempted to advance in the areas of Stepova Novoselivka and towards Peschanoye.
In the Liman direction, the invading army attacked seven times near the settlements of Karpovka, Sredneye, Mirnoye, and Shandrigolovo. Four assaults have been repelled so far.
In the Slavyansk direction, the enemy attempted to break through in the Serebryanka area and towards Dronovka. Three attacks were stopped.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy attacked in the Vyemka area and was repulsed.
In the Konstantinovsky direction, the invaders tried to advance six times in the areas of Shcherbinovka, Rusiny Yar and in the direction of Predtechny.
In the Pokrovsk sector, the occupiers launched 28 assaults to dislodge Ukrainian defenders from their positions near the villages of Nikanorovka, Mayak, Rodinske, Krasny Liman, Novoekonomicheskoe, Promen, Lisovka, Pokrovsk, Udachnoye, Orekhovoye, and Dachnoye. Defense forces have already repelled 24 attacks.
In the Aleksandrovsk direction, the enemy launched 18 assaults near the villages of Zeleny Gai, Filiya, Aleksandrovgrad, Sosnovka, Novogrigoryevka, Verbovoye, Alekseyevka, Vishnevoye, and Novovasilyevskoye. Two clashes are ongoing.
In the Orekhovsky direction, three attacks were repelled near Stepovoye and in the direction of Novoandreyevka and Novodanilovka.
In the Dnieper direction, three attempts by the occupiers to advance in the area of ​​the Antonovsky Bridge ended in failure.
As a reminder, Russia lost over 900 soldiers killed and wounded in the 24 hours of October 23. The total number of Russian casualties is approaching 1.2 million.
