[Korrespondent] European officials are now planning a trip to the US this week to discuss the plan, Bloomberg reports.
Ukraine, together with its European allies, is developing a 12-point plan to end the war along the current frontline, Bloomberg reports, citing its sources.
The proposed plan will be implemented by a peace commission chaired by US President Donald Trump, the media reports.
The plan envisages that after Russia agrees to a ceasefire and both sides establish territorial lines, all deported children will be returned to Ukraine and prisoners of war will be exchanged.
Ukraine will receive security guarantees, funding for reconstruction, and an accelerated path to joining the European Union.
At the same time, sanctions against Russia will be gradually eased, but approximately $300 billion in frozen bank assets will only be released after Moscow agrees to participate in Ukraine's post-war reconstruction. In the event of further aggression, the restrictions will be reinstated.
According to the plan, Kyiv and Moscow will begin negotiations on the management of the occupied territories, although neither Europe nor Ukraine will legally recognize the occupied lands as Russian.
The details of the plan are still being finalized and are subject to change, and implementation will require support from Washington.
