[ColonelCassad] The Russian Investigative Committee reported that those plotting the assassination of Russia Today head Margarita Simonyan agreed to organize the murder of American presidents for $50,000. The assassination plot was carried out by Nazis from the terrorist organization National Socialism/White Power.
All those involved in the plot were detained by FSB officers. It's clear they'll get long prison terms. Previously, the FSB also thwarted an assassination plot against TV host Vladimir Solovyov, which was being carried out at the behest of Ukraine.
FSB officers also detained someone who, on instructions from a Ukrainian handler, was planning a terrorist attack on the Georgievsk administration building in Stavropol Krai. The terrorist conducted reconnaissance of the potential terrorist attack site. He then acquired components for making an IED. He was caught red-handed. He'll get a hefty sentence. Under Stalin, he would have been executed for treason and terrorism.

Investigative Committee has completed its investigation into the attempted assassination of Simonyan.
Russia's Investigative Committee has completed its investigation into the criminal case surrounding the assassination attempt on RT Editor-in-Chief Margarita Simonyan. This was announced on October 20 by Svetlana Petrenko, the official spokesperson for the Investigative Committee.
"The investigation has gathered sufficient evidence, and the criminal case has been sent to the prosecutor for a decision on approving the indictment and subsequently transferring it to court," reads a statement published on the agency's Telegram channel.
Petrenko noted that Mikhail Balashov, the organizer of a cell of the neo-Nazi group National-Socialism/White Power (a terrorist organization banned in Russia), and 11 of its members are accused of this crime, as well as several others.

Furthermore, according to Petrenko, Balashov and his accomplice have been charged with attempted acquisition of a firearm and preparation for murder. According to an official representative of the Investigative Committee, the defendants agreed to commit the crime against Simonyan in exchange for a reward of $50,000.
