[Regnum] An Air Canada Boeing 737 Max passenger jet clipped two adjacent aircraft while maneuvering on the ramp at Toronto Pearson International Airport. The Daily Mail reported this, citing a video posted on social media.
The footage shows the plane approaching a parking space between two other airliners. However, the space between them proved too narrow, causing the aircraft's wings to clip the adjacent aircraft.
The incident involved an aircraft whose last flight, according to FlightAware, was on October 10 from Quebec City to Toronto. The nature and extent of the damage have not been disclosed.
Air Canada declined to comment, citing the ongoing investigation. Airport authorities have also yet to provide any official information.
According to the Daily Mail, experts are expressing concern over the rise in such incidents amid staff cuts at the Federal Aviation Administration.
