[Korrespondent] Russian troops are conducting the largest number of attacks in the Pokrovsky direction. Specifically, 51 combat clashes have occurred there since the start of the day.
The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has recorded 198 combat clashes since the start of the day. This was confirmed by the General Staff's evening report on Friday, October 10.
Twelve combat engagements occurred in the Severo-Slobodskoy and Kursk directions. The enemy launched 101 artillery attacks, including two from multiple launch rocket systems.
Today the enemy attacked 24 times in the South Slobodskoy direction.
The enemy has made 11 offensive attempts in the Kupyansk area. Three clashes are still ongoing.
In the Liman sector, the Defense Forces repelled 14 assaults. Another eight clashes are still ongoing.
In the Slavyansk direction, the enemy attacked seven times in the areas of Dronovka, Yampol and Grigoryevka.
Since the beginning of the day, Russian units have carried out one attack in the Kramatorsk direction.
Today, 16 military clashes occurred in the Konstantinovsky direction.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy has made 51 attacks since the beginning of the day. Our defenders are holding back the enemy onslaught and have already stopped 47 enemy attacks. Fighting continues in four locations.
As reported, according to preliminary data, 198 occupiers have been neutralized in this area today, 140 of whom were permanently destroyed. Furthermore, Ukrainian forces destroyed one artillery system, eight vehicles, and 61 UAVs. Our forces also destroyed six armored combat vehicles, one artillery system, and 12 enemy personnel shelters.
In the Oleksandrivka sector, Ukrainian defenders have repelled 21 attacks by the invaders. Five more clashes are ongoing.
The enemy did not conduct offensive operations in the Gulyai-Polye direction, but carried out airstrikes in the areas of the settlements of Zaporizhzhia and Zheleznichnoye.
In the Orekhov direction, the occupiers attempted seven times to advance forward on the positions of our troops in the Kamyansky, Stepovoy and Plavni areas.
In the Dnieper direction, enemy units made five unsuccessful attempts to storm the positions of our units.
The General Staff recognized the soldiers of the 40th Separate Coastal Defense Brigade, who are effectively holding back the enemy.
As we wrote earlier, Russia lost another 1,120 of its soldiers in the war against Ukraine over the past 24 hours.
