Text: Israel’s Shin Bet intelligence agency and the IDF announced they thwarted a major Iranian weapons smuggling attempt bound for terror operatives in the West Bank. A shipment of advanced arms from Iran, including anti-tank rockets, explosive drones, grenades, and machine guns, was intercepted in a recent joint operation. The seizure follows similar interdictions in March and November 2024. Investigators arrested a Ramallah-area weapons dealer linked to Iranian smuggling networks. The shipment was reportedly organized by the IRGC’s Special Operations Directorate (Unit 4000) and Quds Force Unit 840, under As'har Bakri.
