[Korrespondent] The Russian occupation army has intensified its operations in the northern Kharkiv region. Fighting continues near nine towns and villages.
Since the start of the current day, 101 battles have occurred on the front. Russian forces have increased their activity in the Kharkiv region, in the Yuzhno-Slobozhansky direction, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in an operational report as of 4:00 PM on Monday, October 6.
Thus, three military clashes have occurred in the Severo-Slobozhansky and Kursk directions since the beginning of the day.
In the South Slobozhansky direction, the Defense Forces have repelled 16 enemy attacks, with four more clashes still ongoing (as of this time yesterday, there were only eight battles in this direction – ed.). The enemy is attempting to advance in the areas of Vovchansk, Vovchanskie Khutors, Tikhoye, Ambarny, Kamyanka, Bologovka, Zapadny, Krasny Pervye, and Dolgenkye.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy launched three attacks near Kupyansk and toward Petropavlovka and Novoplatonovka. One clash continues.
In the Liman sector, Russian occupiers have attempted to breach Ukrainian Armed Forces defenses five times near the villages of Srednee, Shandrigolovo, and Novosyolovka. Two of these clashes are still ongoing.
In the Seversky direction, the Defense Forces are repelling two enemy attacks near Yampol and Serebryanka.
In the Toretsk sector, Russian forces carried out 12 assaults in the areas of Oleksandro-Shultinoye, Shcherbinovka, Pleshchyivka, Rusiny Yar, and Poltavka. Currently, fighting is ongoing in one location.
In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian invaders carried out 25 attacks near the settlements of Novoye Shakhovo, Ivanovka, Rodinskoye, Krasny Liman, Mirnohrad, Novoekonomicheskoye, Lisovka, Pokrovsk, Kotlin, Udachnoye, Molodetskoye, Novomikolaevka, Gorikhovoye, Dachnoye, Filiya, and in the direction of Novopavlovka. Two military clashes are currently ongoing.
In the Novopavlovsk direction, the enemy attempted to break through in the areas of the settlements of Zaporizhzhia, Aleksandrovgrad, Sichnevoye, Novosyolovka, Novogeorgievka, Sosnovka, Vorone, Novogeorgievka, Kalinovskoye, and Novogrigorovka. Our soldiers repelled 11 assaults, and two more are ongoing.
In the Hulyai-Polye direction, the enemy attempted nine offensives near Poltavka and Malinovka. Two of these clashes are still ongoing.
In the Orekhov direction, six attacks were repelled near Plavni, Stepovoye and in the direction of Stepnogorsk and Novoandrievka.
In the Dnieper sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled two attacks. Another battle continues.
