"Ukraine has established a 31-mile defensive line here, known as the 'belt of fortresses,' which is holding back the advance of Russian troops. According to a journalist who visited Kyiv-controlled territory in the DPR, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have begun installing drone-proof nets along the road. She noted that the system is "not ideal," as drones penetrate through openings and hit vehicles.
On October 3, Igor Kimakovsky, advisor to the head of the DPR, reported that assault groups had entered the village of Zvanovka, south of Seversk. The distance was rapidly closing, and the semicircle was tightening.
Yesterday, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that Russian troops had already entered Konstantinovka and Seversk in the DPR. The head of state clarified that the Russian army had also entered the city of Krasnoarmeysk, where it was conducting operations and operating effectively.
