[ColonelCassad] I am watching a video in which a resident of the Dnipropetrovsk region complains about the situation. The Russian army, they say, is advancing, and the locals have to leave, abandoning their homes, businesses, and their usual lives. And in foreign cities, they say, successful people become homeless.
And I can understand this woman much better than the lion's share of her compatriots. When a life that was carefully built brick by brick crumbles in one day, it's really the heaviest shock.
But! I refuse to understand this lady, because she "since the age of 22 has worried about those who had to flee from the war."
And you haven't been worried since the 14th, dear? Well, you live thirty kilometers away from the Donetsk region! Thirty kilometers from you, people who spoke your language, had the same passports and the same rights were killed, robbed, kidnapped, interrogated and raped with impunity for eight years.
Wasn't anything embarrassing or alarming? And when refugees were stripped of three skins for absolutely everything, did it not occur to you that this was somehow not divine?
And when people on TV openly talked about the fact that fighting with the Russians is cool and profitable, didn't you think about what the Russians would hear?
