The 1,317th day of the Russian Federation's large-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. In total, 158 combat clashes were recorded over the past day.
This is stated in the report of the Ukrainian General Staff.
Yesterday, the enemy launched two missile and 74 air strikes, used five missiles and dropped 162 guided bombs. In addition, it carried out 4,312 attacks, including 129 from multiple rocket launcher systems, and engaged 5,280 kamikaze drones to destroy them.
The aggressor carried out air strikes, in particular on the areas of the settlements of Girke and Zaliznychne in the Zaporizhia region.
Over the past 24 hours, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces have struck one personnel concentration area, two command posts, and one other important enemy facility.
Six clashes took place in the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions over the past day. The enemy carried out 14 air strikes, dropping 37 guided bombs, and carried out 176 shellings, including three from multiple rocket launchers.
In the South Slobozhansk direction, the enemy attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders seven times near Vovchansk, Novovasylivka, Bolohivka, and Kamyanka.
Six clashes took place in the Kupyansk direction yesterday. Our defenders stopped the enemy's assault actions near Kupyansk and Golubivka.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 11 times, trying to wedge into our defenses near the settlements of Hrekivka, Karpivka, Kolodyazi, Myrne, Shandryholove, Torske, Zarichne, Yampil, and in the direction of Novy Mir and Drobyshevy.
In the Siverskyi direction, the Defense Forces stopped five offensive actions of the invaders in the areas of the settlements of Hryhorivka, Yampil, Viyimka, and Pereyzne.
Four clashes were recorded in the Kramatorsk direction yesterday - the occupiers tried to advance in the directions of the settlements of Bondarne, Minkivka, and Orikhovo-Vasylivka.
In the Torets direction, the enemy carried out 22 attacks in the areas of Shcherbinivka, Pleshchiivka, Toretsk, Rusyn Yar, and Poltavka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, our defenders stopped 45 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Shakhove, Volodymyrivka, Sukhetske, Myrolyubivka, Novopavlivka, Lysivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Bilytske, Chervonyi Lyman, Novoekonomichne, Gruzke, Ivanivka, Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Novoukrainka, Novomykolaivka and Filiya.
In the Novopavlivka direction, the enemy yesterday carried out 26 attacks near the settlements of Zeleny Hai, Andriyivka-Klevtsove, Vorone, Sosnivka, Novomykolaivka, Voskresenka, Kalynivske, and Novohrygorivka.
In the Hulyaipil direction, our defenders stopped five enemy attempts to advance near the settlement of Poltavka.
In the Orikhiv direction, our soldiers repelled two enemy attacks in the direction of Novodanylivka and in the Plavni area.
In the Dnieper direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our defenders three times, but was unsuccessful.
No signs of the formation of offensive groups of the aggressor were detected in the Volyn and Polissya directions.
Our soldiers inflict significant losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces and actively undermine the enemy's offensive potential in the rear.
The losses of the Russian invaders over the past 24 hours amounted to 980 people. Ukrainian soldiers also neutralized a tank, two armored combat vehicles, 12 artillery systems, two multiple launch rocket systems, 271 unmanned aerial vehicles, and 29 units of automotive equipment of the invaders.
