[ColonelCassad] The operation in the Kanal neighborhood is a little late, but better late than never. Below will be a story about a unique drone operation in the "Kanal" microdistrict of Chasov Yar in the summer of 2024. In the summer of 2024, immediately after the storming of the "Kanal" microdistrict by the forces of the 98th GvVDD, the aerial reconnaissance group of one of the subdivisions had the audacious idea of ​​entering the microdistrict and working directly under the nose of the enemy, which did not correlate in any way with the traditional principles of UAV operation.
98th GvVDD is the abbreviation for the Russian 98th Guards Airborne Divison.
The difficulty was that it was necessary to walk quite a long way to the intended work point (according to the participants, the route was about 12 kilometers long), and the route itself had to be covered in full with work equipment, which added significant weight. A classic delivery to the site was impossible - the sky was full of enemy UAVs, at that moment the site represented a solid "airfield" and any movement of equipment was quickly stopped by the enemy, which made attempts to enter the "Channel" futile. The exception here was the famous "Espanyola" stormtrooper race, which took place at the same time, but I personally did not see any practical sense in this motorcycle trip.
The route of movement was extremely interesting - the road was strewn with "petals", "bells" and other explosive objects, and the enemy did not stop the movement of drones. At one point, according to the participant of the operation with the call sign "Krepostnaya", four FPVs and two reconnaissance copters were hovering over the group, looking for the slightest movement. This is how the tandem unit of the reconnaissance and fire circuit of the UAV subdivisions in the Ukrainian Armed Forces worked. Along with this, the Armed Forces actively used artillery on the roads of the tray, covering approximately squares, but the group, being in shelter, survived the shelling and moved on.
At the time of the entry of the aerial reconnaissance group into the "Kanal" microdistrict, the Pytublya group was riding there on motorcycles. At this moment, the command of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, shocked by such impudence, decided to unleash all available firepower on the units of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation that entered (and entered) the Canal. The shelling began with barrel artillery, cluster munitions, the amount of FPV was simply incalculable.
Importantly, all the equipment (including electric generators) was dragged by hand in several stages, that is, the air reconnaissance unit had to run along the route several times in order to secure the necessary material values.
Having settled on the point, the soldiers realized that this is a great place for profile work - on one "Mavyk" battery it was possible to safely make three flights with resets, there is no need to talk about adjusting the artillery - hang yourself for pleasure and adjust.

On average, about 6-7 "fat" targets were handed over for defeat per day, some of the targets were worked out by the group on their own, including in cooperation with your humble servant, who was at that moment in the "Kalinovka-forest "Druzhba" site. Being in the maximum proximity to the enemy, you could not even bother looking for the targets - they were literally "in the palm of your hand". The guys did not forget about the support of the adjacent assault units, who were on the flanks - they were thrown food and water. In the end, one of our combat comrades, being treated in the hospital, received words of thanks from the 98th GvVDD for the delivery of drinks and food.
Perhaps the enemy did not even suspect that there were such daring guys who jumped to the front with the stormtroopers and showed the enemy a master class. the unit was able to jump overhead and show an amazing result.
