[Regnum] Tourists in Kamchatka have been warned about the danger of five volcanoes. This was reported on September 28 by the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Krasnodar Territory.
It is noted that volcanic activity may pose a danger to tourists.
"The Bezymyanny, Klyuchevskoy, Shiveluch, Karymsky, Kambalny, and Krasheninnikov volcanoes are active and may pose a danger to people. For safety reasons, it is strongly recommended to avoid them," reads a statement published on the agency's Telegram channel.
On September 21, seismologists recorded a magnitude 6.1 earthquake in the Pacific Ocean off the eastern coast of Kamchatka. The tremors occurred approximately 180 kilometers from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, with their source located at a depth of 25 kilometers.
