[Korrespondent] The Russian army is most actively attacking in the Pokrovsk area. Ukrainian Armed Forces units have already stopped 27 assaults there.
Since the beginning of the current day, 78 combat clashes have been recorded on the front. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in an operational report on Wednesday, September 24.
Thus, three attacks by the Russian occupation army were repelled in the Severo-Slobodskoy and Kursk directions.
In the Yuzhno-Slobodskoy direction, the enemy attacked twice near Vovchansk. One combat engagement is ongoing.
In the Kupyansk direction, five attacks continue in the areas of Kotlyarovka and in the direction of Peschanoye and Kolesnikovka.
In the Limansky direction, the invaders attacked 14 times near the villages of Novomikhaylovka, Grekovka, Kolodezi, Shandrigolovo, Novosyolovka, Derilovo, and Zarechnoye. Seven battles are still ongoing.
In the Seversk direction, the enemy attempted to break through in the areas of Serebryanka, Orekhovo-Vasilyevka, and toward Dronovka and Yampol. Five of the seven attacks are currently ongoing.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy attacked in the area of ​​Chasovy Yar and was repulsed.
In the Toretsk direction, the invader attempted to storm the areas of Aleksandro-Shultinoye, Shcherbinovka, Pleshchievka and Yablunovka seven times.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the occupiers carried out 28 attacks near the settlements of Poltavka, Nikanorovka, Rodinske, Krasny Liman, Novoekonomicheskoe, Sukhetske, Lisovka, Zvirovo, Kotlin, Udachnoye, and Gorikhovoe. One battle is currently ongoing.
In the Novopavlovsk direction, the enemy attacked five times near the villages of Voskresenka, Sichnevoye, Voronye, ​​Ternovoye, and Novogrigorovka. One battle continues.
In the Gulyai-Polye direction, our defenders repelled three assaults in the Olgovskoye area.
Two aggressor attacks have been stopped in the Dnieper sector. Another battle continues.
As a reminder, Russia lost nearly 1,000 soldiers killed and wounded in the 24 hours of September 23. The total number of Russian casualties is approaching 1.2 million.
