The greatest activity of Russian troops is recorded in the Pokrovsk region, where fighting is taking place in the areas of 17 settlements.
Since the start of the day, 98 combat clashes between the Ukrainian army and Russian invaders have occurred on the front. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this in an operational report on Tuesday, September 23.
Thus, the enemy attacked seven times in the Severo-Slobodskoy and Kursk directions. Fighting there continues.
In the South Slobodskoy direction, seven armed clashes occurred near the settlements of Vovchansk, Odradnoye and Zapadnoye.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy attempted to advance three times in the Kupyansk and Petropavlovka areas. One clash is ongoing.
In the Limansky direction, our defenders repelled five assaults near the villages of Kolodyagi, Novosyolovka, Torskoye, and Shandrigolovo. Three of these clashes are still ongoing.
In the Seversky direction, two enemy attacks were stopped in the Yampol area.
In the Kramatorsk direction, one enemy attack was repelled in the Konstantinovka area.
In the Toretsk direction, all eight assaults near Aleksandro-Shultinoye, Shcherbinovka, Kleban-Bik, Rusiny Yar, Yablunovka, and Poltavka were repelled. The defense forces successfully stopped all attempts by the invaders to advance.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy attempted to advance toward our positions 38 times throughout the day near the villages of Volodymyrivka, Nikanorivka, Novoye Shakhove, Zolotoy Kolodets, Novoekonomicheskoye, Mirolyubovka, Rodynskoye, Nikolayevka, Promen, Lisovka, Zverovoye, Kotlin, Udachnoye, Molodetskoye, Dachnoye, and toward the villages of Novoukrainka and Filiya. Two clashes are ongoing.
In the Novopavlovskoye direction, the aggressor launched 18 attacks near the settlements of Poddubnoye, Sichnevoye, Komyshuvakha, Novomikolaevka, and Novoivanovka. Four of these clashes are currently ongoing.
In the Hulyai-Polye direction, one enemy attempt to advance near the village of Poltavka was repelled. Two more clashes are ongoing.
At the moment, the enemy has not carried out any offensive operations in the Orekhovsky and Dnieper directions.
As a reminder, Russia lost more than 100 soldiers killed and wounded in the 24 hours of September 23. The total number of Russian casualties is approaching 1.2 million.
