The conscription task established by the decree of President Vladimir Putin was fully fulfilled, the vice admiral noted.
"Over 170 civil aviation flights, 14 Armed Forces aircraft flights, and 15 military echelons were used to send young recruits to military units," the Russian Defense Ministry press service quoted Tsimlyansky as saying.
In total, over 125,000 conscripts were transported by aircraft, troop trains, and passenger trains during the spring conscription campaign. At the assembly points, all conscripts were provided with the required rations, the vice admiral added.
Tsimlyansky also reminded that the autumn draft will take place from October 1 to December 31. All conscripts will serve only in the Russian Federation and will not be called upon to participate in special military operations. The length of conscription remains unchanged at 12 months. The vice admiral also noted that, from this date on, the decision to conscript into military service is now valid for one year from the date it is made.

According to him, at least a third of the conscripts will be assigned to training units and military bases. There, they will master modern military equipment and receive a military registration specialty, which will allow them to be assigned to the armed forces upon completion of their training.
The vice admiral also announced that all new recruits will be assigned to serve in units permanently stationed exclusively within Russia. Furthermore, conscripts who have completed their mandatory military service will be discharged in a timely manner and sent back to their places of residence, he concluded.
