[PRESSTV.IR] The Yemeni defense minister and the Chief of the General Staff of the Yemeni Armed Forces have warned that the Arab nation possesses the ability and means to deliver crushing and painful blows to the ''Zionist enemy'' if it makes any mistake.''Enemies, particularly the criminal Zionist entity, all arrogant advocates of the regime, and all traitors should know that we have built up an advanced, powerful, sophisticated and modern army, which is capable of defending the homeland and the sanctities of the Muslim world,'' Major General Mohammed Nasser al-Atifi and Muhammad Abd al-Karim al-Ghamari said in a joint statement on Saturday night.
The statement added that the Yemeni Armed Forces, through reliance on their homegrown military hardware and defense capabilities, will give a painful response to any act of aggression against the country.
''The Zionist enemy should be aware that any desecration of the sanctities of Muslim nations will not go unanswered. Our response to aggressors will be crushing, and they will have to pay a heavy price,'' it further noted.
