More than a third of all Russian attacks are concentrated in the Pokrovskoe direction. Fighting is currently ongoing in four locations there.
Since the beginning of the current day, 63 combat clashes between the Ukrainian army and Russian invaders have occurred on the front. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this in an operational report on Friday, September 19.
Thus, two military clashes occurred in the Severo-Slobodskoy and Kursk directions since the beginning of the day.
In the Yuzhno-Slobodskoy direction, two enemy attacks were repelled near the settlements of Vovchansk and Figolivka. Another military clash continues.
In the Kupyansk sector, Russian forces attempted to break through three times in the areas of Stepova Novoselivka and Peschanoye. One clash is still ongoing.
In the Liman direction, the invading army launched 10 attacks near the villages of Novomikhaylovka, Shandrigolovo, Kolodyagi, and Torskoye, and toward the villages of Stavki, Novoselovka, and Sredneye. Three clashes are ongoing.
In the Seversky direction, one attack was repelled in the Vyemka area.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy twice attempted to break through the Ukrainian Armed Forces' defenses in the Stupochki area.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy carried out seven assaults near Shcherbinovka and in the direction of Pleshchievka and Rusiny Yar.
In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian invaders launched 25 attacks near the settlements of Volodymyrivka, Nikanorovka, Rodynskoye, Novoekonomicheskoye, Promen, Lisovka, Pokrovsk, Kotlin, Molodetskoye, Udachnoye, and Dachnoye. Defense forces repelled 21 assaults. Fighting continues in four locations.
In the Novopavlovsk direction, the enemy attempted to break through in the areas of the settlements of Filiya, Voskresenka, Berezovoye, Maliyevka, Novoivanovka, and Olgovskoye. Five enemy assaults were repelled, and two more clashes are still ongoing.
In the Orekhovo direction, the enemy attacked twice near Kamyanskoye and towards Stepnogorsk. One clash is ongoing.
In the Dnieper direction, the enemy twice unsuccessfully attempted to approach the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the direction of the Antonovsky Bridge.
As a reminder, Russia lost over 1,100 soldiers on the front in the 24 hours of September 18. Tomorrow, the total number of casualties since the beginning of the war will exceed 1.1 million.
