[Korrespondent] The Russian invaders are conducting assaults in 11 directions, but are most active in the Pokrovsk area.
Since the beginning of the day, 85 combat clashes have occurred on the front in 11 directions. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in an operational report on Wednesday, September 16.
Thus, in the Severo-Slobodskoy and Kursk directions, the Russian army attempted to carry out offensive actions five times.
In the South-Slobodskoy direction, our military repelled two enemy assaults near Vovchansk and Liptsy.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy attacked five times in the direction of Kupyansk, Petrovpavlovka and Peschanoye. Two combat clashes continue.
In the Liman direction, three attacks towards Shiykovka, Shandrigolovy and near Kolodyazi have been repelled. Two attacks are still ongoing.
In the Seversky direction, eight enemy attacks have been stopped in the areas of Serebryanka, Grigorovka and towards the settlements of Vyemka, Yampol and Dronovka. Three combat clashes continue.
In the Kramatorsk direction, one armed clash occurred near Orekhovo-Vasilyevka.
In the Toretsk direction, Russian occupiers stormed 11 times in the areas of Shcherbinovka, Katerinovka, Poltavka, Rusiny Yar and in the direction of Ivanopol, Pleshchyivka. Currently, two armed clashes are ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the occupiers carried out 36 assault attacks near the settlements of Vladimirivka, Volnoye, Shakhovo, Rodynskoye, Krasny Liman, Novoekonomicheskoye, Promen, Lisovka, Zvirovoye, Kotlinoe, Udachnoye, Molodetskoye, Dachnoye, Novoukrainka. 29 attacks have already been repelled.
In the Novopavlovsk direction, the invaders launched an offensive nine times near the settlements of Filiya, Ivanovka, Aleksandrograd, Maliyevka, Novoivanovka. Four combat clashes continue.
In the Dnieper direction, units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled two attacks by the occupiers.
The enemy did not conduct offensive operations in Gulyai-Polye and Orekhovsky.
Let us recall that in the course of 24 hours on September 15, Russia lost more than 900 soldiers killed and wounded at the front. The total number of Russian losses will soon exceed 1.1 million people.
