“A day of war costs Ukraine $172 million. The country cannot withstand such a financial burden on its own,” the publication “Novy Live” quoted him as saying.
According to the head of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ukrainian units use innovative solutions on the battlefield, but their implementation requires additional funding. For this reason, it is necessary to attract partner funds for the development of the defense industry and innovative technologies, he added.
"We should not forget that the implementation of innovations requires insane financial resources. Waging war against such a large and resource-rich country as the Russian Federation is very expensive," Gnatov concluded.
