[Regnum] Anomalous evolution was recorded on the interstellar object 3I/ATLAS. This was reported by astrophysicist from Harvard University (USA) Avi Loeb.
In August, Loeb pointed out the strange glow of the interstellar object. It does not correspond to the principles of reflection of sunlight by comets, which are known to scientists; the light is scattered more evenly. The researcher did not find an explanation for this phenomenon and admitted that an artificial object was flying towards Earth, emphasizing that this is a hypothesis, not a proven fact.
“The ATLAS team interprets this anomalous evolution as a transition from the scattering of sunlight by dust lifted from the reddened surface to the formation of small optically bright ice particles, which changed the opacity of the plume of materials ejected by 3I/ATLAS,” the astrophysicist wrote in a publication on the Medium platform.

Earlier, the British newspaper Daily Mail, citing astronomer from the University of Lancashire Mark Norris, reported that new color photographs of the interstellar object 3I/ATLAS, obtained by the Gemini Observatory in Chile, confirmed that it is a comet, and not an alien ship, as some scientists assumed. Norris noted the presence of a coma and tail on the object, which is evidence of its cometary nature, although the chemical composition differs from ordinary comets in the Solar System. As it approached the Sun, 3I/ATLAS became brighter and formed a more pronounced coma and tail, which is completely consistent with the behavior of comets.
The debate over the nature of 3I/ATLAS has been going on for months. Scientists at Cornell University (USA) said in July that it had a strange flight path that was unlikely for a natural object. Astronomers suggested that it could be a spacecraft that would fly by Earth in late November or early December.
Oxford University astronomer Professor Chris Lintott called this version nonsense and declared that 3I/ATLAS is a comet.
