[Korrespondent] Ukrainian units carried out active operations in the areas of several settlements in the Sumy region.
Since the beginning of the current day, 88 combat clashes have occurred on the front. The Ukrainian army has made progress in the Sumy region, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in an operational report on Thursday, September 11.
Thus, in the Severo-Slobodskoy and Kursk directions, two military clashes took place, one of which is still ongoing.
"At the same time, our units carried out active operations in the areas of several settlements in the Sumy region. They were successful, advancing up to 150 meters in some areas and inflicting losses on the enemy in manpower," the statement said.
In the Yuzhno-Slobodskoy direction, eight combat battles took place in the Vovchansk area and in the Otradnoye direction. Three enemy attacks are ongoing.
In the Kupyansk direction, two combat clashes are continuing. In total, the enemy advanced four times in the areas of Kupyansk, Petrovpavlovka, Novaya Kruglyakovka and in the direction of Kurilovka.
There were 10 combat clashes in the Liman direction, four of which are still ongoing. The enemy attacked in the areas of Shandrigolovoe and Drobishevo.
In the Seversky direction, the enemy carried out seven attacks in the areas of Grigoryevka, Serebryanka, Dronovka, Vyemka. Another combat clash continues.
In the Kramatorsk direction, one attack by the occupiers was repelled near Stupochki.
In the Toretsk direction, an enemy attack near the settlement of Poltavka was stopped.
In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian troops tried to advance 28 times in the areas of the settlements of Nikanorovka, Mayak, Novoekonomichnoe, Rodinskoye, Mirolyubovka, Lisovka, Zvirovo, Kotlin, Udachnoye, Muravka, Dachnoye, Filiya and in the direction of the settlement of Pokrovsk. Our defenders have already repelled 24 attacks. The fighting continues.
In the Novopavlovsk direction, nine enemy attacks were repelled near the settlements of Ivanovka, Filiya, Zelenyi Gai, Tolstoy, Maliyevka, Komyshuvakha, Olgovskoye, Poltavka and in the direction of Novoivanovka. Five more enemy attacks are ongoing.
In the Dnieper direction, the aggressor carried out one useless attack.
The enemy did not conduct offensive operations in the Gulyai-Polye and Orekhov directions.
Let us recall that in the course of 24 hours on September 10, Russia lost almost 900 fighters killed and wounded. The total number of Russian losses is approaching 1.1 million people.
