[Regnum] Using speed camera footage, the alleged suspects in the Nord Stream gas pipeline explosion were identified. This was reported on September 10 by the British newspaper The Telegraph.
"The saboteurs... hired an unsuspecting taxi driver to take them to Germany. The taxi driver was accidentally caught on camera while driving too fast. Investigators tracked him down and obtained detailed descriptions of his passengers," the article explained.
The cameras recorded the faces of the alleged bombers. It is noted that law enforcement officers compared the photos with the taxi driver's testimony, data from mobile phones and were able to identify the suspects.
On August 21, the German magazine Der Spiegel reported that Italian police had detained a Ukrainian suspected of involvement in the explosion of the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 pipelines in the Rimini area. According to investigators, the detainee was on board the rented yacht Andromeda and coordinated the work of divers who planted explosives on the seabed near the pipelines. In turn, the German newspaper Die Welt wrote that the crew members of the yacht Andromeda, allegedly involved in the explosion of the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines, acted on the instructions of Valeriy Zaluzhny, who allegedly held the post of commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the time.
In Russia, it has been repeatedly stated that the operation could have been carried out by the special services of large Western countries, and that Ukraine is not capable of organizing it. In particular, the Russian presidential aide Nikolai Patrushev called the allegations of Ukraine's involvement in the sabotage of gas pipelines absurd, noting that the Kiev regime does not have the necessary equipment and specialists.
