[Korrespondent] Half of all battles are taking place in the Pokrovsk area. There, Ukrainian Armed Forces units have already repelled 27 Russian attacks.
Since the beginning of the current day, 69 combat clashes have occurred on the front. Most of them were recorded in three directions, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in an operational report on Tuesday, September 9.
Thus, four Russian attacks have been repelled in the Severo-Slobodskoy and Kursk directions . Another battle continues.
In the South Slobodskoy direction, the enemy carried out three attacks in the Vovchansk area.
In the Kupyansk direction, four attacks have been stopped in the Stepnaya Novoselovka area, as well as in the direction of Kupyansk, Petrovpavlovka, Peschanoye. Another clash continues.
In the Liman direction, the invaders carried out seven assaults in the areas of the settlements of Novomikhaylovka, Sredneye, Kolodyagi and Torskoye. One battle is still ongoing.
In the Seversky direction, Russian units have tried to advance 10 times in the areas of Serebryanka, Grigoryevka and in the direction of Vyemka. One clash continues.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy carried out offensive operations twice in the Stupochki area.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy attempted six times to penetrate the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ defenses in the areas of Katerynivka, Yablunovka, Poltavka and in the direction of Aleksandro-Shultinoye, Pleshchievka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian occupiers carried out 35 assaults in the areas of the settlements of Vladimirivka, Zapovednoye, Mirolyubovka, Novoekonomicheskoye, Kotlin, Udachnoye and in the direction of Rodinskoye, Promya, Pokrovsk. The defense forces repelled 27 attacks.
Four assaults have been stopped in the Novopavlovsk direction . Another seven clashes are still ongoing. The enemy is trying to advance in the areas of Maliyevka, Komyshuvakha, Olgovka, in the direction of Filiya and Novoivanovka.
The enemy did not conduct offensive operations in the Dnieper, Gulyai-Polye and Orekhov directions.
Let us recall that in the course of 24 hours on September 8, Russia lost almost 1,000 fighters killed and wounded. At this rate, the total number of enemy losses could exceed 1.1 million people as early as next week.
