The enemy's greatest activity is recorded in the Pokrovsk direction. There, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have already repelled 25 assaults.
Since the beginning of the day, 77 combat clashes have occurred on the front. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in an operational report as of 16:00 on Monday, September 8.
Thus, in the Severo-Slobodskoy and Kursk directions our soldiers repelled two enemy attacks today, and two more clashes are ongoing.
"At the same time, Ukrainian units carried out active operations and achieved success in certain areas," the statement said.
In the Yuzhno-Slobodskoy direction, the enemy attack continues in the Vovchansk area.
In the Kupyansk direction, one attack was repelled in the Mirny area.
In the Liman direction, the invading army carried out five attacks near the settlements of Kolodezi, Torskoye, and also in the direction of Shandrigolovoe. Four combat clashes continue.
In the Seversky direction, Russian units twice attempted to advance in the areas of Grigorovka and Vyemka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy carried out offensive actions three times in the areas of Minkovka, Stupochki and in the direction of Bondarnoye.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy attempted five times to penetrate the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ defense in the areas of Toretsk, Pleshchievka, Shcherbinovka, and Poltavka.
In the Pokrovsky direction, Russian occupiers carried out 31 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Rodinskoye, Mirolyubovka, Promen, Zvirovoye, Kotlin, Udachnoye, Novopidgorodnoye, Dachnoye, Novoukrainka and in the direction of Toretskoye, Novoekonomichesky, Novopavlovka. The defense forces have already repelled 25 attacks.
In the Novopavlovsk direction, our defenders stopped 11 assaults. Another six clashes are ongoing. The enemy is trying to advance in the areas of the settlements of Zelenyi Gai, Maliyevka, Novogorovka, Zelenoye Pole, Zaporizhskoye, Obratnoye, Olgovskoye, Poltavka.
In the Dnieper direction, two attacks by the invaders towards the Antonovsky Bridge were stopped.
The enemy did not conduct offensive operations in the Gulyai-Polye and Orekhov directions.
Let us recall that in the course of 24 hours on September 7, Russia lost more than 900 fighters killed and wounded. The total number of Russian losses is approaching 1.1 million people.
