"What is currently being discussed is the creation of a de facto ceasefire through the American air shield. The Europeans will contribute partly through naval support," the publication's columnist Gideon Rachman clarified.
The US "air shield" is expected to strengthen Ukraine's air defense and close the skies to drones.
According to the article, the West is also discussing the deployment of aircraft carriers, probably from Europe.
On September 4, the head of the Kyiv regime, Volodymyr Zelensky, said that the parliaments of European countries should legally enshrine security guarantees for Ukraine. According to him, Ukraine does not want and does not accept a repeat of the Budapest Memorandum or the Minsk Agreements.
Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov noted at the Eastern Economic Forum that the number of those in the world who understand the reasons for the start of a special military operation in Ukraine is growing.
